Tiebag is a fashion based social network. I created 6 bags each one contained four copies of a certain item. Item can be: key chain, purse etc. Each bag and item has a serial number which is the user and password to a blog. I gave the bags to six people. The fact that each user has four copies of the same item that is unique should encourage her to trade items with other users she meets on the streets.

People who live in metropolis often feel alienation. It seems like they forgot how to communicate with strangers on the streets, and looking for an excuse to start a conversation. Today a connection most likely will start between people who share a common interest like: dogs, smoking, a brand etc. Since most of this population has a fashion awareness, this project can be used not only as a communication tool by owning it, but also by giving the excuse to start a conversation. The location is everywhere one will wear a bag - in the streets, subway, conferences etc.

Tiebag encourages "physical" interaction by a delight experience out of a daily action by a reference to kid痴 play. 的値l give you a mirror if you値l give me a purse" or more interesting: 的値l give you an iPod case if you値l give me 2 purses". In addition, there is also a "virtual" interaction through the blog. Users can interact using their serial number as a login. That way they can watch the history of their items: "My purse was belong to Madonna".
